I meant to bike ride this morning, but overslept. When I woke I figured, oh well, it's vacation! So, I slept even later. When I finally crawled out of bed I said my goodbyes and headed for the nearest coffee shop to fuel up for my next adventure. After a brief stop I got back on the road and headed out to visit an old college friend. I arrived there at a decent time, but good friendship still got the best of us, and my friend and I were still up visiting at 4a.m.
I had thought I might stay 2 nights in a row, but her and I put our heads together and threw some more ideas around. The verdict is that I will set out tomorrow for camping and biking adventures, and stop back at her house for one more day of visiting at the end of the trip.
The road so far has been good to me. Great music, and beautiful scenery. Note to self; the next road trip out this way should be planned for the Fall season when the trees are changing colors....
